"Look, she's opening her eyes."
Fallowkit stretched her eyes open and gazed at the black and white she-cat and brown tom looking at her. A purr rumbled in Fallowkit's mother's throat. "I told she would open her eyes, Treefall," the queen mewed.
"Of course she would, Whitemoon." Treefall mewed. Fallowkit felt a tiny paw poke her back. She turned to see her brother, Hailkit. "We can go out of the nursery now!"he squeaked.
"Not yet, Hailkit," mewed Whitemoon."You have to wait until Fallowkit gets used to the light. Fallowkit heard her brother sigh. "Alright," he squeaked.
"Let all cats who can catch their own prey gather here."
"What's going on?" Fallowkit squeaked, looking up at her mother.
"It's a Clan meeting," Whitemoon mewed as she stood up."Come outside."
"Yay!" Hailkit squeaked as he padded after his mother. Fallowkit scrambled out of the nest and trotted after Whitemoon.
